Kaylee: Is that him? Mal: That's the buffet table. Kaylee: Well how can we be sure, unless we question it?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The town where my parents live still has about 50% without power. My parents have electricity, but my friend who lives down the block from them doesn't. Most streets are still blocked, and a whole ton of houses were damaged by trees falling on them.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Good grief, Juliebird. Sorry you were forced to rely on help from awful people. I hope you have your car now and are away from him.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Got a good number of trick-or-treaters here. Still have some candy left. (Of course, the candy I have the most left of, despite trying very hard to give it away, is one I do not like at all.)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

If I need assistance in another language, my language options are Spanish, Tagalog, Chinese, and Navajo.

That's....what, really?

Actually got rid of all my candy save some for MSBELLE and my neighbor's kids. All in 45 minutes. They travelled in large groups. And they remembered me from last year!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Got my car, but still practically running on fumes. Neighbor drove to PA to get gas for where he works.

So my dilemma is: say fuck it, I'm not going into work until the gas situation resolves a bit and I can get a full tank, which could be a week from now and I'm back to relying on nosy heckling neighbor, or crash at boss's house, abandoning cats or sticking them in her basement, but having to hang with My BOSS 24/7 until gas sitch is resolved. Heated house, laundry, no personal space or free kitties or meat. God, I just want my own space. Being forced to socialize Roth neighbor, wife, and kids was exhausting. Bitch bitch, whine whine, I'm fortunate that this is my problem.

Also, I can see my breath.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I'd say fuck it, no work until you can get gas.

Remind me where you live. maybe we can rally some resources for you.

Oh bless, msbelle, I'm in somerset county, bernardsville, nj.

I think at the least I'll text out so I can find that mile long wait in Berkeley heights --oh, crap, I don't have enough gas for that.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I've had a bunch of superheroes, a Spanish dancer who protested when I mentioned Flamenco, and a very cute Batgirl.

And every single time the doorbell rings the dogs go to the door. But the black kids are almost always afraid of the dogs, even the very cute Golden Retriever. Sigh. (Okay yes, I call her the Demon, but she doesn't look demonic.)

I hope there will be some Twix left for me at the end of the night, it's still early.
