Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I'm good. Power came back early this morning. Trying to get up the nerve to go downstairs in the basement to check for leaks. Haven't looked at the exterior of the house yet.

Glad everyone is more or less OK.

Ack! Seaside Heights is less than 5 miles south of my aunt's! Went to that amusement park plenty of times, too.

Steph -- yes, and saw dolphins. Not that I'm jealous or anything like that, after 50+ summers of being there on the beaches and not seeing any dolphins.

Which I thought were sharks at first. (I'm from OHIO. I was IN THE OCEAN. I've seen "Jaws" a million times. Fins freak me out.)
