It's still pretty toasty warm in here without turning the heat on. I think I convinced my friends who had 4 trees go down at once in their backyard and have a raging stream across the street to come stay up here for the night. We still have power for now and no trees that would threaten the house much (maybe the front porch) and no raging streams.

30 miles away from here, there are towns that are 90% w/o power according to the electric company map.
The wind map is pretty fascinating tonight.
It's surprisingly windy in Cincinnati. They're saying to expect 50-60 mph gusts overnight.
Ack! It looks like Delaware is going to blow right off the map!
Welp, powers out now in my corner of bernardsville. Got candles going. Neighbors swing tree went boom. No notice about work, but I can't imagine we'll be open.
Aaaaand, power back (for now).
Yeah, lisah (and Jen?) are your families OK? They are both in Del., right?
Lights are flickering here.
Loving the personal storm updates! It was kind of icky (but typical and kinda weather I like) in Seattle and lovely here in LA where I just got to my hotel.
On facebook one of my relatives posted a picture of a sign that says "NO Mr. President! Hard work, initiative, and sacrifice built THIS Small business." And someone else commented "EXACLTY"
So I had to comment that's pretty much what Obama meant and linked Mitt Romney saying almost the exact thing about the Olympic athletes. Not sure if they'll respond, but I couldn't let that go.
