It's a lot of "Is this a TV show or a freakin' PSA? Who wrote this? Are teenagers EVER like this??" Y'know, the same thing that's been going on for years, only moreso.

I also prefer someone with me on vacation to make me get up and go. Even if we're like "OK, meet you in three hours at the coffeeshop" or whatever.

I am in a pissy mood. I did get my car inspected and an errand done and my room cleaned. mac is not helping. neither are the people who are not really my friends, but who I have formed something with because our kids are friends. Every single, we have different values thing is showing its head this weekend and I am hating it. example - kid that we are supposed to take to the soccer game? no one has called me all weekend and we are leaving for the game in less than 5 min. I have texted the family twice today and still no call from the aunt that has him. so inconsiderate and irresponsible and my guess is that they just miss the game altogether which is not fair to the kid or the team. just not how I want to raise mac and not how I treat others or commitments.

I made a burrito for lunch. It was easy and also delicious. I now have the fixings to make two or three more burritos in the refrigerator.

You guys, I think I have discovered the problem with making burritos at home. It's because I want to eat them ALL of the times.

Not a problem! Burritos are tasty and nourishing! They have meat and cheese, and probably veggies if someone not-me makes them!

Yeah, that stuff is all weird, msbelle. We've been here years, and there's still a good bit of, "Well, we hang out some, but we don't actually line up all that well." kind of friends. Like last night we went to the coffeeshop to hear a local band and some people we know from the Sat. church sat down with us. It was fun at first, and the one guy has these amazing Mafia stories from back in the day. And then they went all lunatic fringe and we had to pretend we couldn't hear them across the table. And the band retuned about eight times, which would have been fine if they hadn't shown up twenty minutes after the set was supposed to start.

Oh, and I am having the same burrito problem, but with enchiladas. Only enchiladas are worse because you make all of them at once, and so you totally can eat All The Enchiladas. But I'm going with the it's healthy plan. These have low sodium white beans, tomatoes, spinach, leftover rotisserie chicken, green chiles, and are made with low-fat evaporated milk. And cheese. Lots of cheese.

I gotta get with y'all for girls night soon. I miss everyone.

Definitely. R texted me last minute and KR joined us, and then I went over to R's place with Frankie and we talked past midnight.

Not a problem! Burritos are tasty and nourishing!

Oh, the problem is not in the burrito. The problem is in my ability to stop after eating an appropriate serving size.
