My favorite thing in the Prado was Hieronymous Bosch's "Garden of Earthly Delights." I was walking around with an American woman I'd met who was an art history major, and she told me all kinds of stuff about it. Like, there's a painting on the backside! If you peer around the edge, you can see a bit of it.
Since sarameg is off having wonderful Spain adventures, I'll hold down the "neighborhood loves carrots/Saturday busyness" post. Last night I went to sushi happy hour with two neighborfriends, and then went over to one of their houses for more drinks and long coversation. This morning Frankie and I went to Doggies and Donuts where we got our portrait done, then I went and picked up my Jazzfest ticket, got a huge haul from the farmer's market and now I'm getting ready to go to Jazzfest! WOO. I freaking love this town.
Yup, sign me up on the miss ita, but hope she's getting what she needs list.

So, somehow I lost my DL and ATM cards when we were out dancing last night. I have canceled the ATM but we are supposed to go out again tonight and I am id-less. Any ideas?
Don't have one. Obviously I'm over 21 but I've known places to be sticklers about ID.
A stern glare? And/or avoid the kind of place that cards everyone...
Wow. I'm watching this week's Glee (the Whitney episode) and the songs and dancing are awesome...but everything else is making me pause every minute or so so that my roommate and I can go "ARE YOU KIDDING ME, WTF?!?!"
