Frank, I'm sorry, but glad it was peaceful.
ita !, as with every Sunday, I'm thinking of you and hoping you get a good doctor.
Darby's "eyebrows" make her look eternally anxious. The landshark costume is adorable.
If I had a dog, for Halloween I'd dress as the dog, and dress my dog as me. I can't believe I missed the chance to do that when I had a Samoyed.
I found the wig and have it on now to start the make-up so I don't look sickly with this hair.
New York is not fucking around - they are shutting down the subways! That's crazy. Schools are even closing up here, which seems like overkill, but I guess we'll see.
I hope my hype is inversely proportional to storm impact theory holds, guys. Stay safe!!
The governor of MA has already called a state of emergency, and that should mean that TCG should have the day off tomorrow because he works for a town. No word yet, though.
So....I just got a second dose. Not of everything, but of some things, and the full amount of it, so....And the doctor asked if it would take three to get it under control--not in a "So sorry--you're fucked!" way either.
My fingers are tightly crossed right now--I don't usually ask for ¬ma, but it can't hurt if some of you also want this to turn out right (and the meds actually work--this is going to need a big dent, but starting out better than last Monday is a step in the right direction).
The key to random is that sometimes it works in my favour too.
Pleasepleasepease. Keep resident and attending and nurses all on board with the same pro-me plan, which isn't the plan my doc said was in place, but WHO CARES?????
Mostly unrelatedly, dude next to me (room 3 again) has an infected bruise on his hip. Like, leaking
pus
bruising. He's going to get the whole thing (haematoma, not bruise, my bad) drained by a surgeon. That'll larn him and his fancy skateboard tricks.
HEY DOCTORS GIVE ITA HER DRUGS!
I spent all morning grocery shopping since my FreshDirect delivery got canceled (they canceled all deliveries this afternoon and all day tomorrow).
School and work are closed tomorrow. There will be no public transit of any kind.
If we don't lose power, we'll have plenty of food and DVDs. I'm charging my phone and iPad so I'll have something to entertain the kids with if the lights go out. Hopefully I bought enough bread if we have to eat PB&J for two days.
HEY DOCTORS GIVE ITA HER DRUGS!
This.
{{Frank}} Love to you and your family.
