No, I'm not in the ER yet. I can't leave the deployment, because no one is fucking troubleshooting but me. I am seriously about to start crying and hang up. Surely they can do something themselves. I'm the Business Analyst, not a technical fucking firewall troubleshooter.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

You'd think.
I woke up, but I think I'd like to go back to bed!
I did not feel the earthquake we apparently had. Was sleeping the good sleep. ita !, I'm, as per usual, angry and frustrated on your behalf. No one should be hassling you when you are in the ER.
ita ! I'm sorry that your Sundays always end up being so frustrating.
Surely they can do something themselves.

I got an AC power converter for my car's cigarette lighter, so if the power goes out and there's flooding, I can still run the sump pump and save my basement.
By 'flooding' I mostly mean ground water. We're on a pretty good-size hill, so I don't have to worry about NO-style flooding. It was a foot-worth of ground water flooding that killed my furnace, so I'm prepared, I think.
Note to self: test sump pump for workingness today....
