I heard from another friend that the Repubs were being a bit aggressive at some of the polling stations.
Well, in a less funny story, a lesbian couple and their small child were stopped by a Republican volunteer and strongly encouraged to vote for Romney, because he'd preserve traditional marriage. When they came out I took a picture of them with their I Voted! stickers next to the Obama sign. One of them said she nearly clocked the Republican volunteer when he'd gotten in her face about saving America from the "rainbow menace."
Oh, FFS. Homophobic AND stupid.
The kitchen floor is clean. We discovered A Cat (we have our suspicions which one) had been using a semi-hidden corner as a litterbox. SIGH.
It may be cold as all hell, but at least a ceramic tile floor cleans up very well.
I just realised that someone was trying to convince me to frame and hang some of my fanart in a real live one day art show.
And I'm going along with it. I'm about two days late on the freakout (what the hell), but I realise--pictures need to be chosen! Prepped! Ack! They don't want portraits, and sex is fine, and how can I have pencil pictures of Dean and Castiel on printer paper in a SHOW?
The hell, man?
And if I could, I couldn't choose.
Well, anyway, choosing is not happening now. Migraine bat just picked up power. Hydration and lie-down.
"The Rainbow Menace"--there's a movie there. It may star Care Bears.

maybe a crossover with My little pony
I cleaned off a shelf. Mixed in with total junk were matted pictures I took in college and original stories that I'm not sure I have virtual copies of anymore, plus a hand-written journal. Which is why I can't just do a Hoarders -style cleanup and toss it all sight unseen. Alas.
Sad news, Frank. I'm glad your mom was surrounded by family.
