Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have been running the data centre woman ragged (we go live with the new servers this weekend), and I just asked her for new servers, so we could upgrade mid-December. She flipped her nut. Why did we waste all this time spinning up virtual servers if you're just going to replace them two months later??? Uh, because that's the project plan? You really want us to install 64 bit 2008 on top of 32 bit 2003, or you want us to stay at 2003?

She immediately cc-ed my boss and manager like I was making up a need for 6 servers.I must have quite the reputation as a rogue business analyst, swooping through the data centre when no ones looking, and deploying wildly, but out of sight of the law.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Puppy inn bed with you or mac?

Ack, no. Bad idea. Dog must be cratable, and should not get in the habit right away of sleeping with people.

Yeah, I'm not a dog person, and our dogs always slept with us. Crating was unheard of.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Announcement: I could not love Andre Braugher any more. Literally. He has decimated my heart.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

He took 10% of your heart?

(Sorry, sorry.)

(Not a whole lot, though.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I couldn't think of any other disputed words to throw in there on short notice.

Every time I get on a plane, and they say "We'll be taking off momentarily," I think of that scene in Sports Night where they say "Momentarily means both 'for a moment' and 'in a moment.'"

I always forget that "presently" and "disinterested" don't really mean what they seem like they mean.

And yet I get paid to edit. Stand back and marvel at that shit.

Let me make everyone's night a little surreal with the best damn headline I've read in a LONG time: Shark Falls From Sky Onto California Golf Course.

This is why I don't golf, yo. Because shit like that happens.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I change a lot of "since" to "because."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm sure we could stand having our hearts decimated. I'd guess there's some stuff up in there we're not suing.

Two questions, and I forget the first:

2. How do you find good pictures? (This has some sub-bits, but it's still technically the second question)--say, how do you get to a picture you know exists (say, Rockwell's Rosie Riveter--first you image search to see what it looks like, but then, how do you end up with the highest res, best quality version?) (or if someone says-I need a picture of Benedict Cumberbatch where you can see his shoes--as hi res as you can?) (Or--I need an old man with frying egg--it can be on him or a plate or whatever, as long as it's in the picture. It should be mostly blue?)

Oh, right, I remember the first question--evaporated cane juice. My Just Orange says 0g sugars, 0 calories, but there is evaporated cane juice, which is basically some of the way to sugar. I'm from Jamaica--I've done the tours. Of course it's sugar! If you put that amount of sweet into them with white sugar (or even brown) would the sugars or calories be higher? Or is this just for my health, because Wholefoods is pretty rhapsodic on the topic. Kind of a mood killer, really.

Know what else is mood killing? Starting a scrabble game with a seven letter word and they're all singles. SATIRES doesn't give you that much. Sadface. I need a high word over 100 points, dammit.
