Digital Spy says that the CW is developing a teen drama around Mary, Queen of Scots.

WTF. Mary Stuart was, to be honest, a self-absorbed woman obsessed with her political position and possessed of criminally poor judgment. She made a series of personal and political blunders that led her to the axe. If she'd had an ounce of sense she could have had a long and successful rule instead of ending up how she did.

OTOH, I can totally see how the adultery, explosions, murders, and possible rape add up to "teen drama" in the eyes of the CW.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Do you watch any series on the CW? This looks perfect! Especially with Gossip Girls ending (it is ending, right? Those kids are 40)

I don't want to put more on your plate when you're at your limit. Can you just give a thumbs up on anything that doesn't use any personal identifiers?

Uh...yeah! I mean, please help me. I'm useless, and clearly not making progress on my own. Since I know it isn't impossible, and I refuse to believe I'm an outlier, the issue is with my problem solving approach, I think. New approaches==good!

Speaking of which, I'm having a hard time maintaining my suspension of disbelief watching Britney on Glee this year.

Hey--anyone that likes Teavana and hates the stores (does not look in leN's direction), I have a offer code for free shipping, today only--holla holla if you wanna use it.

Only slightly related, if you like lightly oxidized teas loose leaf teas, give this [link] a try. It's titled peach blossom, but there's also jasmine and light light citrus in there.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just discovered the Borg are not as cool as I thought.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

That's just the Borg venerating their ancestors.

A photographer took pictures yesterday of the search and rescue dog that tracked Sassafras. Salsa's cancer has returned, so she is now retired, and living out her days chasing squirrels. If you are so inclined to like the pictures on FB, please do so to let him know he did a good deed taking these (he donated his fee). [link]
