the zillow estimates in my town directly correspond to the county estimates of value for tax purposes. Thankfully (from a tax-payer and house-seller's standpoint) these estimates are quite a bit lower than the houses sell for on the market.
Huh, I wonder if the Bmore city estimates are affected by our homestead tax credit?
Our county lists a before and after homestead credit value, and zillow's bots grab the before.
#21 needs to go up on Good Stuff.
Good call.
I know you said you weren't worried about it, Jesse, but just to throw it out there - do you still have checks? You can go to the grocery store and write a check for over the amount if the cash situation gets too tight before your new card shows up.
Ooh, good tip! The grocery store is way easier to get to than the bank, for me. But I can definitely go to the bank when it's open tomorrow, so that should be fine.
Rick,
hmm. thanks for that information. It is lower than my county tax estimate. To add insult to injury.
I have spent all morning playing Whac-A-Mole with Canada.
It's about time *someone* did.
Blame Canada! Blame Canada!
The Zestimate for my neighbors' apartment is $30k above what they just sold it for, for whatever that's worth.
how is Thai food so goooooood! It makes me feel bad for all the other food.
oh. You know what is fun? I just re-looked at my 101 things list from 1/1/11 (101 things to do in 1001 days). I haven't really looked at it since Feb/March of 2011 and haven't updated it since Feb.
Since the 1001 days are not over yet, it is still in progress, so I think I will try to pick it back up and get soe focus in my personal world of "getting stuff done".
It's the chili-lime-garlic trifecta.
I just spent a big chunk of time trying to come up with a new name for my spelling bee team. It's surprisingly hard!
