I worked the Democrat greeter booth outside an early voting polling station this morning. It's a beautiful day--sunny, and cool. And my little hippie town is pretty friendly toward the Dem table. Some guys showed up to staff a Republican info table, and they didn't see much traffic. I also got to vote, and now there's a nice "I voted" sticker on my front door. One less bell for the canvassers to ring.

Are the tops stretchy at all, Sue? I am afraid they won't fit my calf because they say the shaft is only 14.5 inches wide, and my calf is more like 16. I don't know if the calves go up as the shoe size goes up...
I have been to market and done all my shopping (well, I need to buy a pot to repot my geranium for the winter) and have a small load of laundry in. I need to clean. And do leaves, but they're too wet now. So I might just take a nap. Cause I really didn't get enough sleep last night.

I think they do stretch. It's neoprene so it has some give. I know my coworker doesn't have the thinnest calves either...
