Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Ah, the constant parade of confusing ballot initiatives and propositions. I try to always go through the voter guides in advance and make informed choices...but sometimes if I can't figure out the intricacies or have a strong opinion I'll choose not to vote on those items rather than possibly make a poor choice. I always voted absentee (before moving to OR where it's all by mail, WINNING!) so it was pretty easy to sit there with the booklet and the ballot double checking my entries. I think I would need some kind of cheat sheet if I went to a physical polling place, the wording on so many of those is awfully confusing.

We have three state constitutional amendments on the ballot. I agree with the issues, but don't think they are amendment worthy. Frustrating.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

ita, your work stress is beyond. I wish I could send you your preferred muffin.

Since leaving work I have picked up Noah, gone to the grocery store, made and ate dinner with Noah and K, taken Grace to soccer practice (oh man, the British coach was super fun today), made more food for Noah, fed Grace, bathed twins, run double breathing treatments and now I'm exhausted.

Sigh.

Noah had a wicked bloody nose in the middle of the night. He stained through sheets, mattress pad, all the way to the mattress. Poor guy. So in response, he gets a saline nebulizer treatment before bed. But it makes our breathing treatments go from 30 minutes to an hour.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's why I snapped at the vendor today. They fucked with my first deadline by not calling back. The second deadline was false. This Sunday is tight, BUT WE WERE MAKING IT. I can't make sense of the security scans, at all. If those things are security issues THEY ARE ALREADY EXTANT. We're just moving the problems to a cheaper box.

But I'm done fighting for it. I fought and fought and drove this all month. My manager is back in the office so she can have everything now.

I have told people that I will not tell them what my preffered muffin is, but they are free to go to the restaurant and ask what the almost tall black woman with the short hair always orders, if they need to bribe me.

I sent the list of critical issues to manager and boss, and I hope for a better night's rest than I've had in weeks.

Okay--I need the first person who gives a fuck to help me out. Can you pick someone and a category from this [link] to put up at this [link] -- I cannot think right now, and I need tomorrow's picture.

Where do I submit photos for Provocateuse, again? I swear I won't spam you with Gerard Way photos. Swear.

I am *monumentally* behind on the email address, but if you have more than one pic, pics at provocateuse dot com is the best place. If you're going to submit one, you can submit a photo here: [link] . I do get to those a bit faster.

I really need to take those sites more seriously. I got started. October was my deadline. Gotta get those blinkers back on. But I need to work out social media buttons--the code of them is not bad (though Facebook is quite weird--for full impact it does involve putting a real name to it, and...not gonna happen... I've got tumblr and twitter live on venus, FB in beta (the three together are ugly), and Google+, pinterest, and one more that I forgot totally. And of course I bump into this which says too many are too many. Is 6.5 too many: [link] ?

StumbledUpon? Maybe--I think that's what started the whole thing, from finding them in my traffict. And I've seen my stuff on pinterest too, but since I promote on tumblr, they were first.

Jilli, do you share your content like that?

Anyone here, who generates (or steals,...aggregates, nay..curates) content made these choices? What feedback was it based on--things about how your stuff being used? Data or anecdata? Or is it about where you want to go?

(And that was totea a business post but I never feel it's a real business to ask questions)
