ita, I recommend trying to slog through and understand the propositions on the ballot. And I second the LWV recommendations as they are clear about why the support and/or are against things.
Inside jokes? Probably a tie between DH and my sister, with a fair amount of overlap between them.
I share the most inside jokes with Emmett, but that's partly because our entire relationship is based on inside jokes. Well, except for the overt parental stuff and baseball and music. But mostly there are quotes from the Revenge Society episode of The Venture Brothers. Or Invader Zim, Archer, Louis CK, Community, Adventure Time...
It helps that he's a fairly good mimic and gets the intonation just right on lines which are only funny to us like, "Because you are sane!" and "That is a mug!"

A couple of years ago, I would have said my BFF, but we hardly talk now. So, I would say TCG and I share the most inside jokes, we're constantly making each other laugh with things that are only funny to the two of us.
I feel like I have a lot of inside jokes with myself. Which is a little weird. But what happens is I say things to my students such "You're all doing verry well", like Mr. Grace from Are You Being Served, and they just totally don't get it. Or 'That'll Do Pig".
I feel like I have a lot of inside jokes with a lot of people. The number of Buffista inside jokes is high on the list. But probably Megan, since we have IRL jokes and most of the Buffista jokes too.

Hahahaha, I do this too. (Occasionally one of my UK coworkers will actually laugh. Younger Americans, nuh-uh.)
