Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My DH.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Which person do you share the most inside jokes with?

Tom and my best friend Doug (who I've known since high school).

le nubian, I am sorry I was so prescient about the idiocy of inspectors. On the other hand, it sounds like your agent has your back...

I think a lot of people skip propositions, and also the lesser offices (county coroner? Why is this a political office?). I like the League of Women Voter's guides and their ilk because they make it pretty clear which are the unimportant no-account propositions (and/or those that will probably pass by a high percentage), versus those that I actually have to look into and understand. The ones that require real research and a decision are usually a minority, IMO, but then, I don't live in proposition-happy California.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Which person do you share the most inside jokes with?

Tim, although Chatty is a close second, due to proximity, time spent, comics geekery, and mocking our boss.

t edit Wow, I didn't even think about my brother. He's actually the clear winner. We freak out both his wife and Tim by how one of us can say about 2 words and the other one finishes the phrase and then we devolve into laughter, leaving the 2 of them scratching their heads.

Inside jokes: Nutty has the historical advantage - I can make her laugh with things that happened before we were 10 - but mr. flea is more up to date.

flea, where do you vote? When I lived in Hyde Park (over on Shaw Ave., a couple of blocks from the square), I voted in the firehouse. I was endlessly amused to vote there and see the huge sign that said "DO NOT BLOCK FIRE TRUCKS". Voters: not too bright.

I vote at the library branch, in the room off the children's area. Which is a little weird, since the fire house is closer to my house (although only by about 50 yards).

We vote at the CRC College Hill rec center (which is where I work out). So voting is really an exercise in dodging kids in the afterschool program and avoiding Zumba enthusiasts and trying to ignore the smell of the fries from the snack bar.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My oldest younger sister, for sure.
