I'm weirdly proud of myself for not watching.

Too scared to watch myself, but according to Ta-Neisi coates this one is going a bit better for the President, at least so far:
I think so, definitely. Although Obama and Romney actually had a face-off of sorts -- talking to each other, rather than the audience or the moderator -- that seemed dang close to coming to blows.
But Obama is way more on it than he was in the first debate. Romney looks constipated, and isn't as good with thinking on his feet.
Oh right, the debate!
Well, Obama's awake and so is the moderator.
I am watching the debate, but I need others to tell me how the president is doing, because I'm obviously a bad judge of these things.

The moderators should be allowed to turn the candidates' microphones off when they start their blathering outside their allotted time.
I want fact checkers with buzzers. Each candidate chooses 5 fact checkers. The moderator selects three from the pool. Those three are given Taboo buzzers and when a candidate lies, they hit the buzzer and give the fact and give the candidate a chance to respond.
I think Mitt just basically implied that "his" economy will be so strong that employers will have to resort to hiring women.
I am, however, impressed that he knew that women are allowed to work.
