Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sometimes you just need to get some pretty new shoes:

Those shoes are HOT.

I'm waiting on a flu shot until they show up at my office.

I got an autographed book by the Oatmeal guy! So that was a lot of standing and waiting.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got an autographed book by the Oatmeal guy

What does he look like? For some reason, the appearance of artists fascinates me, and none more than cartoonists.

Wow- I can't believe NY went for Reagan over Mondale!

ETA: After reading again about Geraldine Ferraro, do we think it is weird that there hasn't been a president of Italian descent? Or really anyone of any vague "ethnicity" except JFK can Obama?

brillig

I'm still boggled by the Johnson-Goldwater spread. I wonder if it was holdover Kennedy effect, fallout from Vietnam, or what.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Mine are worse and longer AND with shorter intervals between. And yeah, the PMS is like whoa. Also, my nipples were sore for a week and a half beforehand! I will check into the fibroids thing. Sorry, this was more of a Bitches conversation, but apparently my symptoms are such that I whine wherever I am.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Mine have been longer and worse since I went off the pill.

Longer and worse than before you were on the pill or than when you were on the pill? Because, oh, I miss the easy days of strictly regulated hormonal contraception.

Where do we whine about Arrow?

I hope to not go off the pill until the last possible second and then immediately start some other form of hormone regulation.

The pill made me so insane that I don't even remember if my period was better, because I was too busy acting like I had more of a mood disorder than i already do!

Personally, I would like to just be a flattened head, like Zoe Wanemaker in Doctor Who. That way all my innards could stop trying to kill me.
