Don't worry, we're sure to spot Faith first. She's like this cleavagy slut-bomb walking around 'Ooh, check me out, I'm wicked-cool, I'm five-by-five.'

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am post-lunch CRASHING. Falling asleep in my chair.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have so many deadlines colliding with each other that I'm scared to go and pee, for fear of what will happen when I turn my back on phone and email.

My sister has just been converted to Olde Tyme Ho Yay, via Montgomery Clift, et al. But she won't watch White Collar. She refuses to explain this in any language I speak.

We're having an office Halloween costume competition. The rules are pretty much the same rules you have to follow seeing a movie, post DKR.

I wasn't going to bring a weapon anyway. Pfft.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

The author of the books (whose name I can't recall) has endorsed Romney. So apparently there's a FNL showdown.

Buzz Bissinger, yeah. But it was Berg who coined "Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose." And who invented most of the characters on the show, including the women (the original movie only had one female character with a speaking part, who was played by Connie Britton).

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Speaking of Connie Britton. Thoughts on Nashville? Haven't watched it yet. Should I?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Nashville was my favorite pilot of the entire fall season, by a wide margin.

Always Anti-fascist!

Buzz is his cousin...my cousins are all Repubs too.(They post on Facebook how much they love base housing and ironing.) Even if I got cured tomorrow, I'd never post that.

Who loves ironing? And base housing is legendarily awful. Sheesh.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Speaking of Connie Britton. Thoughts on Nashville? Haven't watched it yet. Should I?

I thought it was just ok. The singing was not great, except for the minor character at the end whose name I can't remember.

I just got called not Indian enough. Apparently the "West" downgrades me to the point where the offshore testers won't reply to my emails.

Lack of a West doesn't exempt them from deadlines, so I don't know what their business is.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ugh.

Back home. We were headed in to teach late because there was another event going on in the morning. Got about forty-five minutes down the road and got waylaid by cramps. Turned around and came home. Now ensconced in bed with heating pad and ginger ale, but seriously, Do Not Want. Why are my periods getting so much more severe as I age?

Anyway, it's probably just as well.
