Yeah, I'm trying to throw gaffe-whammies in Rmoney's direction. He's overdue for one at this point.

I am back to freaking out about the election.
I just find it depressing for so many reasons. Obama has continued too many policies from the Bush administration to make me feel really good about him. Romney appears to be running an amazingly cynical campaign where he shifts policies and positions to pander and it appears to be working. There is an ugly demonization of anyone on some form of welfare. Taking any action on climate change isn't even on the map.

Why were there no Hobbit lego sets when I was a child?
Because you can afford them better now? Building a big Lego set is very calming - like doing a giant puzzle in 3D. And then it looks cool!

Obama is leading 60% to 30% in early voting in OH and other states with early voting.
That should be your shot of good cheer.
shrift, that made me so happy. Fucker was using the slogan in the banner on his fb page. And apparently misquoting it in speeches. It prompted a lively debate for D and me about which characters would vote Obama and which Romney.

Yes, I love that so much! And I'm surprised, because I swear to god I was sure that Peter Berg was a conservative.
And maybe he is, but if so he's one of the sane, compassionate ones (who are getting run out of their own party on a rail).

Oh, what a question. Lemme see: Landry of course would vote for Obama--unless he goes for Gary Johnson. Tyra might, depending. Tim Riggins can't be bothered to register (and probably can't vote, as a felon), although Billy would vote for Romney out of aspiration. I could see Coach Taylor going either way, but probably for Romney, holding his nose. Tami would vote for Obama, and feel she's throwing her vote away in Dillon. Julie would volunteer for Obama and Coach might be embarrassed by her enthusiasm.
Dunno about Lyla or Street. Luke would vote for Romney. Vince for Obama, although neither of them is particularly well-informed. Jesse would throw lots of statistics at Vince about the unemployment rate, and he would just roll his eyes at her.
I don't understand why your husband would think it didn't get through the skin. Skin allows salt out, why wouldn't it allow salt in? It's not a one way road.
Dry brining rocks. It doesn't taste salty to me in the same way that wet brines can. It just tastes nummy.
even if Berg were a conservative, he probably does not want to risk alienating those who may not support Romney.
The Sesame Street people didn't want an Obama ad to mention Big Bird for the same reasons I suppose.
