I fell down and got confused. Willow fixed me. She's gay.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Nine miles! Wow--that's great, Bon. I think the most I ever managed was around four.

Pineapple raisin carrot muffins sound delicious.

Lisah, how distressing. I'm sorry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got distracted by two things--my soy milk curdled (cereal is not how you want to discover that...still shuddering), and then inventory of my spice cupboard.

Luckily the muffin recipe doesn't require milk, because I'm askeered to open the last box (it's not supposed to curdle! It's soy! It's in the magic foil box! It's best before 2013!). And now I do know I have ground ginger, which I was going to omit.

So...there's that.

Shame there's spices all over my stovetop, though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was going to bake, but now I don't really feel like it. Partly because I bought Doritos to go with my chili, so don't need cornbread anymore. But I could still make squah bread! Eh. The squash will keep.

Because books.

I have a recipe for English muffin bread I want to try, but I have a serious problem with getting off the bed today apparently.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone. I have eaten sushi and gone to see Frankenweenie, so the day's turned out pretty well so far.

Punishingly Intricate

did he hit a tree or something? sounds like someone may not have been wearing a seat belt.

Yeah, she hit a tree. And, yeah, I'm wondering if the girl who died, the passenger, wasn't wearing a seatbelt. It happened in a place that I think it would be hard to drive super fast. I guess.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm so sorry, lisah.

Mmmm, muffins.

Dayumm. That's the first time I paid any attention to the lawyer sister in Blue Bloods handling a case in court, and she has zero presence. I get the impression that this is supposed to be a family that deserves its legacy--the two cops are certainly good at their jobs, but...yikes.

But, hey, she's pretty.

Okay, episode is over, I'm gonna send one text message, and then muffins (well, spice clean up first). I swear.

lisah, I'm so sorry.

I think this is a public link to the mathy sign (and other pix): [link]

I didn't see this guy (5K didn't pass us) but I did see one guy running with braces (sticks?) The volunteers handfed him gummy bears so he didn't have to free up his hands.
