Even worse, it's my husband. He's potentially interviewing with a lab, and if your GPA is under 3.5, they need VP approval to hire. (That's fucking absurd, right?)
Incredibly absurd. What was his in-major GPA? Could he give them that? (Mine was worse than my overall, but i think that's not usual)
This was his MBA, so I don't think he had any non-major classes.
Lord, I don't even remember my GPA. I graduated Cum Laude, but that's all I remember.
I have no idea what my GPA was. If it was 3.45 I would say that though, not round up, especially if it is something they could easily verify.
So his years of work experience don't matter as much as one B on a test a long time ago?
This is why no one can have nice things.
Just so we can fully appreciate the ridiculousness, how many years ago did he complete his MBA?
good times. companies r dumb.
Also, to make it clear, they asked for his GPA. He did what the career center told him way back when, and provided it rounded up to the tenth. Then he found out about the whole VP thing.
I mastered the Windsor knot this morning! Well, achieved, anyway. And did more colour mixing than normal...it's probably a total mess, but at least it's a quiet one. Steel/pale blue shirt, long black skirt with underskirts, and a powder pink tie. WINDSOR KNOT, BEEYOTCHES. (It's really fat)
