Librarian Warlord

I am sore from packing up two moving pods yesterday so I can work on get our house ready to sell. My DH leaves tonight for two weeks and I may be a little mad at the universe over that bit of timing.

Last night we had dinner with my bff from law school, who is now a Dean. Because of the move/packing I missed my chance to go to Komi with him on Tuesday night, where the bill for 3 people was $900. Your tax dollars Arizona! (Actually billed to his discretionary fund, from alumni dollars.)

Wow.

Well, I'm in the office, where it's grey and chilly, and I have no new email in my inbox. I'm suspicious.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It's Friday, and once again (for the fourth?! time in 6 weeks, counting the funeral) I am headed for NJ and PA. Made a great deal of headway last weekend, but there's a ton more to do....

Our wings are not tired.

Safe travels, Theodosia. I hope you make good progress.

Drive safe!

It's autumn, and The Big Picture has some fabulous photos, especially the giant vegetable ones at the end.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

A whole lot of Westie puppies.

Dammit, Emmett! Wake up. I'm ready to go to breakfast.

Zazie this morning and pumpkin pancakes.

I'm always suspicious when that sort of thin happens, Suela--wondering if there's an outage I don't know about and I'll soon be flooded.

I am so sleepy. We just landed and I was about to feel guilty about work emails and then I realized if I was home I'd just be starting to look at them now anyway!

Sparky, what kind of restaurant is that? I'd say you need to invite him to come back!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Question: If someone asks for your GPA, and it was 3.45, would you say 3.5? Or list it on a resume that way?

brenda m - Oct 12, 2012 7:13:11 am PDT #25404 of 30001
If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I wouldn't.

(Who is asking for your GPA? I'm always weirded out when it comes up in the context of anyone past say 30, unless it's a school application.)

Dana, why is someone asking for your GPA? That's ridiculous at your age.
