I never leave identifying info in my voicemail
Do you expect people to call you? Clearly I never hear anyone's voicemail outgoing messages if there's no expectation for me to call, and it's usually a professional setting, and I think it's sloppy to leave me wondering if I just dumped important information into the ether. I'm not calling for fun--I think something is important enough to talk about, and you gave me your number, so...let's talk. Instead of me wondering if I was off one digit, and which digit that was.
I can't wear Dansko - I've tried them on and they won't work. (Plus now - with the brace. . . .even less likely.)
Not leaving my name and number on voicemails isn't passive aggressive enough for me--I just don't leave any voicemails.
So you're, like, aggressively passive?
What I see I didn't state--outgoing messages with no information about whose outgoing message they are
except
a phone number that you're no longer sure you wrote down right yet, because is this really Le Nubian's phone number? I've never called it before, so maybe it isn't right.
I agree, ita--it drives me crazy to not know if I got the right person. I mean, even if it's just your voice saying 'you've reached (phone number)" I might recognize that. But I keep having to call this IT guy at work and his just has a computerized voice that says "You've reached the voicemail box for (number)" and I'm not sure if he's even getting the messages, y'know?
meara, what's the other muscle relaxant?
It's...something less strong than flexeril? OK, googled: methocarbamol, aka Robaxin. Initially I had gotten some from my dentist (several years ago I suddenly started clenching my teeth--I woke up one morning and could barely open my jaw and freaked out and went to the dentist), and then found out they're over the counter in Canada, so had a friend get me some. I sometimes take it in the morning for headaches due to muscle issues, because it's not as kick-me as flexeril (but does still make me a little less sharp, though anti-medicating with caffeine helps). Flexeril I take if I'm feel horrid...and usually if I'm feeling that bad, it only barely does anything (good or bad)
My voicemail isn't personalized because every time I tried to set an outgoing message, it failed. Stupid iPhone.
What I see I didn't state--outgoing messages with no information about whose outgoing message they are except a phone number
Yeah, that person just doesn't get a message from me.
OK, googled: methocarbamol,
Yeah, that was one of the drugs they gave me when my shoulder went insane. It made me nauseous before it had any other effect--and I'd take sleepy if it couldn't stop the pain, but if I'm already nauseous, then I can't sleep.
And, dear lord--how many messages does it take to fill an inbox these days? What are you doing (or not doing) that I can't even leave a message in your poorly labelled inbox?
