Scrappy, a good doctor that treats her with respect is great. And tho I'm sure it doesn't feel like it, two good years is meaningful. Having lost way too many parents, I've come to the conclusion that the good years are the ones that count. As long as the patient is happy life is a blessing.

I was going to vote for her at the next election anyway, in large part because her characterisation of the Opposition Leader is pretty much spot-on; but I'll probably feel better about it now. (I'm curious to see how this affects her approval ratings, which are not spectacular.)
