Overwhelming? How much more than whelming would that be exactly?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

My freezer is almost all venison. And some trout. And wild goose. And the aforementioned stock makings. And made stock. But mostly venison.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Yeah, clearing out the freezer is how I got gelled stock.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I feel like my freezer is mostly corn, but that would be a lie. I have a lot of corn in there, though.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I had to empty my ice trays to fit all the food I wanted to freeze in there. It might be a month's worth, but a lot it is whole chickens that I will eat over the course of several months, perhaps even many months. Getting stuff out so I can defrost and eat it can be challenging. I am relieved that tonights's dinner (salmon with green beans and cabbage) shouldn't have leftovers that I'd have to find room for.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

There was an extra fridge in our basement when we bought the house, which the previous owner decided to leave it for us. We moved it to the garage, and it is great for extra freezer space. Right now we don't have much in there, but I am hoping to make some big batches of food soon.

They're also working on an in-person interview in Worcester, MA soon as well.

Ooh, that's close to me! Like, not down the street, but close-ish!

Interview~ma to our DH, Cahmere!

I went out and about today, because it was sunny and 70s. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy and 50s, so aside from meeting a friend for dinner I'm planning to stay in and be domestic. Lunches for next week, apple pie, cleaning . . . Does any one have a good duck soup recipe, please? I have a half-eaten carcass in the freezer that I'd like to do something with.

OK, this week's Grey's Anatomy should be the series finale.

My nails are done. Am trying to figure out the schedule for tomorrow. And the best route to walk to work Monday. Normally (ahaha) I have the tow on a work morning and either get a ride to work from them or walk in. But I'd rather drop it off tomorrow. Maybe borrow the E&E's car to follow the tow in and leave the key and note. But given that everyone either leaves earlier or later than me (I aim for a little before 8, and mondays am usually in before quarter-to) might just be easier to walk.

Logistics. They consume me.
