Even though I have a washing machine in my basement, I do 4-5 loads every three weeks.
Unless, of course, Oz has peed on something.

In theory, I think I could do two loads a week and be all right. In practice, I Wash All the Clothes (and towels etc) once a month or maybe six weeks. Overdue for that right now.
Flylady wants me to do a load every day, but I think she thinks there are more people living in my house. But I like to use the clothesline, and where I have it hung it's most effective in the mornings, so I do a load every two or three days. Although today I have a full three loads coming home from vacation. I did do laundry on the road, I swear! But it's physically impossible to come home from a road trip without a full laundry bag, somehow.
Also, I need to find some functional vintage clothespins. The ones made today are just not intended for heavy daily use, even the ones I got from Lehman's.
I do 5-6 loads a week, but there are 4 people living in my house, and one of them wets the bed sometimes.
That is DARLING. Please tell Owen that the Goth Cabal (which doesn't exist) is awarding him GothPoints.
Hmmm.... Denying their existence is exactly what the Goth Cabal would do if it did exist.
We generally do about 3 loads on average every weekend.
We probably generate enough laundry to do a load every day, but it's easier to let it pile up and do all the laundry twice a week. Flylady's methods really work best if you're a SAHM with school-aged children (so you have a ton of housecleaning to do and most of the day you're home by yourself).
I could do a load every day, most likely, but I usually do two or more loads at once. Teenage boys make a lot of laundry. Really, really stinky laundry.
I usually do about five loads every two weeks at a laundromat.
