"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I call ING (who holds my mortgage) to ask for payoff information. LIke how much will I owe on my mortgage on the 30th when the house sale is supposed to close.

They will not give me that information. They said they need to research transfer fees and all that. I told them: "I don't care about transfer fees, I just want to know how much I will owe on the mortgage proper."

They said they also don't generate the report unless it is to the title company handling the close. "But I'm the one who is financially responsible for the mortgage."

He said they could generate a report for me if I would like, but it would be $10 because they have to research the transfer fees.

"But I don't care about the transfer fees, I just want to know the mortgage balance."

I hung up.

Here's the thing: I can run excel amortization tables if I want to ballpark how much I will owe, but previous banks have just given me a report of payoff information when requested.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The thing that gets me about Akin is that he is on the Science & Technology Committee. If he wins reelection, can he at least be ejected from that committee?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

previous banks have just given me a report of payoff information when requested.

My car and student loans all made it very easy to get payoff info. Dunno why real estate would be different.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Married a guy 5 years younger, here! Go for it!

I can't EVEN with Mr. McStupid (except I AM enjoying the HVAC cracks)...

...so I will just say hi. And bye -- I have been working on 2 project with pretty tight deadlines so natch, I get a horrid chest cold Sunday, which is still here, and I have a 4 hour board meeting in an hour. So I gotta go make myself look less like death.

A little.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would guess that maybe he means that abortion providers dupe women into getting abortions when they aren't even pregnant so they can make money. That's about the best I can figure.

That would have been my assumption, too.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

All I brought was brown rice for lunch. It's good rice and all, but that's not really a lunch.

You need some protein. Feel free to grab an unwary squirrel and add him to your diet.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The thing that gets me about Akin is that he is on the Science & Technology Committee. If he wins reelection, can he at least be ejected from that committee?

If he wins he becomes a Senator.
