And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Would a stain like that even come out with drycleaning?

At home I just don't own any white sheets, so I have no idea. But it's a semi-permanent hair dye, so I'm pretty sure bleach will take care of it. (Everything in the apt was IKEA so even if he has to replace it I doubt it will be very expensive!)

Ooh, that reminds me: I never got my deposit back from the VRBO I did in August. Need to email the homeowner with a copy of the agreement.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Finally caught up, after some skimming.

For the first time in my life I've been given a different prescription for an anti-depressant and had it not work. Boo.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I decided to be all tech for this doctor's appointments. I typed up my notes between the fellow and the doctor, and the rest while waiting for the prescriptions, and I added photos of the prescriptions to my notes before I left. Unsustainable, but it felt nice for now. I am, at least, totally on top of what my prescriptions are at each visit, and the to dos are written down while they are fresh.

Fellow agreed for more medical interventions before cyborg, but doctor is all "It's nothing! Totally proven, no downtime, you can carry a laptop, no missed work, doesn't hurt..." Hmmph. Kiss me, "doesn't hurt." I reminded him pain didn't stop me from having him do the other stuff to me. The soft collar part of the goings on should be fun...

But I'm still waiting out the botox, and trying to fit water therapy and acupuncture into my schedule first.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh Stephanie, I'm sorry to hear he's pulling that kind of stuff on you, not to mention on the kids.

I am still trying to coax the grading fairies out to play, er, I mean grade. I love teaching, even some of the soul-sucking aspects like conferencing, but I hate the grading. Completely ungratifying, and soul-sucking to boot!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I fucking hate grading.

The debate hype continues. It is behing held in Magnus Arena on the Denver University campus. This is where some of my past karate tournaments have been held.

I think I was still too new to Colorado when the DNC was here cause I don't remember the same craziness. But it must have been worse for the DNC, you would think.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey, is anyone else having issues with tumblr? It's been grindingly slow on my work computer for the past couple of days, but OK at home, I think.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, "it's nothing" doc doesn't have it done himself, now does he? But good on you for the organization.

I love my VRBO so much, I can't even tell you. He totally upgraded since the last time I was here. This time we brought the dog, and he's loving it.
