I've seen honest faces before. They usually come attached to liars.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just +1ed something on Google+. I think that's my first time. I just logged in because I remembered the IO9er who told me she liked Cold Kiss, and thought I'd give her the Glass Heart heads up, and then I read my...what is that page even called? Not my friends page or my timeline or my dash...I already shut it down...

Anyway, Wil Wheaton was kvetching about a paparazzo hanging out with a telephoto lens during his Hawaii vacation, and how that prompted him to just tweet beach pictures to make them worthless. Clearly said cameraman never read Wil's tagline. Anyway, good on Wil.

Accidentally watched (as in Sunday is doze in front of TV day) this crap movie with a 32 year old Julie Benz playing a high school student who ages abnormally after being a murderous bitch. It's a remarkably badly done movie--you can see where it's trying to do the teen movie parody with a touch of real teen movie in it, but once you get Julie Benz in adult diapers, there are no real lessons to learn. Nice Aaron Paul dork, though.

And some James Franco gigolo movie that I really missed most of. But sadly, not spared the headache. It seems to be slipping back. Maybe a 2 week plan. Such a shame...the doctors and nurses were absolutely on point this week, and I have a pain doc appt Tuesday where I wanted to tell him the Botox was working so no cyborg needed. Still, I will at least wait the Botox out.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Back from the Getaway. Lots of fun, but I'll be glad to sleep in our bed tonight.(Retreat center mattresses- not the most comfortable)

Call the Midwife was quite enjoyable. And now I have to call the parents.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

(My PBS is WGBH.)

I used to work there!

Aaand my parents are having some sort of water disaster, so they're (hopefully) going to call me back. "Leak" and "main" and "spraying the side of the house" don't sound auspicious. I hope it is a leak in the main of the watering system, not THE main.

Auspicious and suspicious should be spelt more differently.

You know that fiction device where a character sees one thing, shakes their head, and then sees the real thing. I didn't know that happened for real, but I swore I saw a poster advertising the law services of one Mark Sheppard, but then I shook my head and looked again, and it was a Persian surname I'll get wrong if I take a stab at it.

I SWEAR it was Sheppard the first time, though. Can the aliens do that? Should they, while I'm in my car?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Glitch in the Matrix, I say.

Yikes, sarameg. Hope it's a quickly fixable thing.

In shallow news, Doctor Who from last night still isn't showing up on On Demand yet. Sad. Maybe by later tonight. I guess it still hasn't been a full 24 hours for another 45 minutes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You know that fiction device where a character sees one thing, shakes their head, and then sees the real thing.

I have that with people all the time.

I've been defeated by Captcha. If you saw, "the second color in cow, pink, yellow, and brown is _____?" What would your answer be?
