Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Whoo, Jesse!

Whoo, Hil!

Chilling at the hotel during the first pseudo part of our vacation! The SO had a fabulous premiere of his orchestral composition last night, and we had a good time hanging out with the Doc afterwards. He got a standing ovation!

Today we'll try to spend some time with our buddies from when we lived here, and then in a few days we'll head back to the casita in Santa Fe. Our anniversary is actually over, but since Santa Fe off-season started only a few days later, we figured an extra day for the same price was a good enough reason to not celebrate on the actual day.

Trip was incredible!!! And I want to go back right away. London--it's chock full of things to do! Who knew? My parents gave us this great book of walking tours, highlighting lots of off-the-beaten-path type sights, that we used a ton.

I got really sick Sunday night (pukey sick BLECH! probably food poisoning but I can't figure out what would have caused it) and missed out on Monday altogether which sucked. But, we had generally great weather and had wonderful food & (lots of) drinks so I can't complain too much.

I had cheddar grits at the market. OMG, they were perfect.

Gonna laze a bit and watch the thundering herd (they're on a roll,) then swim and go get some IKEA lightbulbs and caulk.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Luck, Suela!

That's some awesome house porn, right there.

Yep! Though looking at the map more closely, it's right off an arterial. I'm also not sure where the maps are drawn for which school it feeds to. Probably the same one Lillian's at, which is awesome, but again, not sure.

If you guys do get a Seattle-area job, are you thinking of the city, or the 'burbs?

Also, in terms of house + location, this is the real house porn. [link]

Walking distance from the school, but in a nice private location. It's shiny.
