It looks like lots of different sorts of breads with fillings, lots of beans and rice, a bunch of things made with squash, and most of the sauces are heavy on the onions, garlic, peppers, and parsley or cilantro.
That all sounds yummy.

I just RSVPd to come to work in the middle of the night for the MSL landing.
I AM NERDCAKES.
Aww, nerdcakes! I would totally do that too, given the chance.
They ran out of room here, so we have to go to Pasadena City College. BOO!
BOO I SAY.
So I finally have an official diagnosis to go with my cough, which has been going on for 7+ weeks now. But it's an acronym so I don't quite remember the order: PIRADS? PRIADS? Post viral cough basically. I want it OVER. Even if I need to take steroids to make it go away, dang it.
Post viral cough basically. I want it OVER.
I've had post-infection asthma, and my reaction was the same: wait, "post-infection" means the infection is OVER, so -- there should be no asthma!
I've strained my lime cordial and now I'm trying it with some fizzy water, but I can't tell if it tastes right. I think I'm going to have to get some gin. What's a good gin, bearing in mind I really only like it in gimlets?
Sorry about the cough, Burrell.
Yeah Steph, it's like a free gift with purchase, bummer division.
Boo, Burrell. At least a diagnosis is validating?
I went to a cooking class! It was fun. And I picked it because I came home with four+ meals for the freezer. Sweet! AND I heard from another woman in the class that "Cooking for Singles" wasn't as depressing as I had feared it would be, and it's the same teacher, and he's a good time, so. I may take that next.
But now I'm exhausted. And have plans tomorrow night, too. Zzzzzzz.

You'd probably like Hendrick's, -t. It's infused with rose & cucumber after distilling, so it's considered a "distilled" gin (which is a ridiculous designation for a distilled liquid, but whatevs), and is much less juniper-y/dry/high-proof than your London dry gins, like Tanqueray or Broker's. I'm not a big London dry fan, but I love me some Hendrick's.
