You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

I started my summer clothes purge for much the same reason flea. How can I hate a full closet of clothes? I have a small pile to get rid of thus far.

I may have some gloves for you - not super warm, but stretchy light purple if that interests you.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Consuela, woo and hoo! Good luck!

flea, I'm in a similar state of despair over my wardrobe, not helped by the fact that I still haven't shed the last 10 pounds or so of baby weight. I'm currently wearing the one pair of slacks that still fit, and my only pair of jeans that currently fit are about to fall apart. Mostly I've been wearing the same few loose dresses/skirts for months now, and only a few of them will work for cold weather. Also, I've hardly bought any new work-appropriate clothes in, um, years, and am getting a little tired of all the Target tops I bought in like 2006. Oh, and the only decent winter work shoes I have are my black Harley boots, seriously. As much as I hate shopping for clothes, I think I'm going to have to do a significant wardrobe overhaul before long.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Finally, Consuela!

I had so much shit go down before 9, I've spent the next 3 hours digging myself out.

But at least some of it is funny...in a sad, sad way.

seriously, my sistah?!? why do I still have the Chadwicks tops from the early 2000s, they are faded or stained and misshapen (shrunk up) and too tight. All of those need to go.

Oh shit, Kat. Does this mean you'll have to go back to the hospital? How do you feel?

Oh boo, Kat! That sucks. At least this time you know what it is? Maybe they can treat it? Or at least give the good drugs?

There aren't supposed to be do-overs in kidney stones! I hope you can get more pain meds without fucking up your day.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Eep, Kat! Good luck.

Wow, I really don't want to go to the baseball game tonight. And yet? Going.
