If you have a decent relationship with Deb G, you could try pinging her -- I know that at least a couple of her mysteries have involved Interpol, and she's pretty relentless about fact-checking. If any sooper-seekrit Interpol information source exists, she'd know where to find it.

How had I forgotten how much I dislike tracking my calories? But I need to (and I need to keep walking in place at my standing desk), because it's a month until an event, and I'd like to shed some of the weight I put on thanks to the new job.
I am idly considering getting a FitBit. (Pete thinks there's no reason to, and that I won't stick to using it.) I know I need to get at least a pedometer.

I am idly considering getting a FitBit. (Pete thinks there's no reason to, and that I won't stick to using it.
Love mine. Though I'm tempted to buy a new one because I'm traveling so much--the current one can save a week or so of info, but doesn't upload to the website until I'm home near the dongle. Whereas the new ones update via your phone's bluetooth. Which would be cooler.

Interpol doesn't really have jurisdiction anywhere. It can only work with local agencies. It doesn't have arrest power.

meara, how noticeable is it when you wear it? If I were to wear it clipped to the front of my bra (assuming that would be a secure place for it), how well does it track movement?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
French Polynesia is not one of Interpol's member countries. I guess the question would be, whether they would cooperate with an Interpol investigation.
