Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Consuela, I'm so excited for you. This could really be great.

I only really took pictures on my tablet during the trip, since I didn't want to wrestle a camera bag, and I regret that, except for the bits where I was on a plane with *exactly* the right amount of carry on, and the right stuff to hand. But looking at iSherv's pics makes me hella jealous--also, for the folks with cameras, there was a lot of picking them up and taking random pics with them, so people have pics of themselves, which is always nice.

The primary photographer is on the left here. That was the outside table. We ate inside for one meal, and it wasn't worth it. By the water was better.

I just sent that to one of our vendors, to taunt them. I don't know if my boss knows I have this level of interaction with them. It's for the best, I believe.

This is the last time they laughed together, because later my mother did her domino idiot savant thing, and chick on the left is still bristling...

We meant to use this, but never did. We really should have all been on lilos and boozing our asses off.

I'm glad she got pics of the staff too. The butler especially was really nice and patient.

brillig

I never heard of this Jinx game until I read about it in some book in college. Perhaps I grew up in a Truman Show and didn't realize it. I never heard of Punch Buggy until I saw Lilo and Stitch.

In annoying news, the State of Hawaii says that adoption records are confidential and requests must be submitted in writing. I need to find out what information is required to submit. Utah will not take a Xerox of the actual court documents. But yay! Hubby's identity is safe!

What the hell are other adoptees doing in this situation? Is this where a revised birth certificate comes in? Except Hubby was 13 at the time. But we're safe because of this!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Aaaaand... there went the Endeavor, right past our window, riding on the 747 like a baby possum clinging to its mother's back. SO COOL.

The library has what we are hoping will be the best view of the flight, so I have a group of people waiting in the library, and donuts!

We had a vendor fair on the 10th floor of our best-view building, so people were sprinting between 10 and 17 to pick up their free coffee and donuts because what's an awesome once-in-a-lifetime close-up shuttle visit without free snacks?

Librarian Warlord

As soon as they are all looking out the window, steal all the donuts!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's very cool.

Oh, and I forgot to get donuts today! And a coworker brought in cookies, so we really don't need them.

That was seriously cool.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I had twice baked potato and quesadillas for lunch and I ate the potato with a SPORK, so I win.

I also discovered $20K that was mis-coded into a cost center for the group that actually let me do their budget work. I have now started the process of getting that re-coded, so I think they should give me a bonus for saving them money - right?

Since I did well with that, I am now looking at their cell phone bills and I think I can save them over $5K more. I already found $300 they were paying by mistake. Small $$ in the scheme of things, but still.

OH, AND I HAVE A PECAN PRALINE SO I WIN MORE.
