Now, this would be the perfect time for a swear word.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

this post possibly brought to you by wine, or carrots.

I just had to go get something out of the car, which meant I had to be outside, and walking back in, I had a total moment of

My house.

MY.
FUCKING.
HOUSE.

LOVE

Our wings are not tired.

Lee, it's been a year for me, and I still have those moments every day. A large part of me still can't believe it's true.

AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY WEEK~! And Erika HAPPY BIRTHDAY~!

Thank you!

I have to admit, I hope that feeling doesn't go away any time soon.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yay Lee! That's so much better than the moment I usually have of

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I am reading comments on huffpost about a woman who was shamed for breastfeeding at a Georgia (U.S. State) Applebee's.

One of the commenters said that following that has me in giggles:

Breastfeeding is a natural part of life, just like burping, farting, peeing and pooping. If people are disgusted just because I occasionally take a dump in the salad bar then that's their problem. I'm not going to exile myself to some bathroom just because they are uncomfortable with natural human processes.

I am assuming the 2nd and 3rd sentences are facetious and I do not want to be disabused of this notion.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

My academe is not so good with that for support staff. To become an administrative assistant rather than a secretary you have to manage people (although many of the job descriptions exaggerate how much in order to get approved by HR.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

...ok.

My department has been promoting people without expanding for the past 6-7 years, and we are now ridiculously top heavy. Out of a team of ten, there are 4 Directors and an SVP.

So here is an example, in the wild, of what Romney supporters think (from a high school friend's facebook). This was part of a semi-rational discussion that did not get out of hand:

Mr. Romney spoke what most of us think. You and I will go to work tomorrow so we can provide a paycheck to approx 18% of that 47% who choose not to work. We all need to contribute something to keep our country running and if the majority of people get a federal tax refund that supersedes what they paid in all year, then that person/family contributed nothing, if that then becomes 47% of tax payers, the numbers don't work. Almost half of the country pays no income tax! Not fair if you ask me, no wonder our national debt is so high. I'm no math scholar but the politicians that made those taxes codes need theirs heads examined. No one wants to pay more but we all should be taxed and pay taxes fairly.

Brainwashed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Shortsighted at the very least.

In Good Stuff news, the post about the Paul Frank company shenanigans blew up over night -- it had less than 150 notes when I went to bed, now almost 1,000. I mean, it's still no Bikers Against Child Abuse, but still.
