Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I still think some of this tax stuff (in the media not here) is a distraction because I would like to roll up our sleeves and have a discussion of regressive and progressive taxes. I think people who have more income should pay more in taxes.
But I believe in funding social services, fire, police, etc.

Speaking of cultivating dependencies, I have just discovered that there are Heath bars in the snack drawer today. This is very, very bad news for my teeth and waistline.
Shoot, even if you get a refund of all the federal income taxes you have paid, you have given the government the interest on that money over the year.

I've been trying to come up with a pithy one-liner that will go viral about how Virginia, which is a commonwealth, should be all about Obama and "socialism."
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday erika!
It's coming down in buckets over here. Good thing we don't need to leave the house until tomorrow morning.
It's supposed to be windy buckets of rain here later. I'm seriously thinking of heading home ahead of the commute.
