I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm on a buffista-inspired cooking roll: just put some lime cordial in the fridge to steep overnight (hat tip to bon bon!).

Allyson, I tried hard to understand that article but the description of what constitutes a false allegation was super murky to the point of contradicting itself, so I can't tell what the quoted stats actually represent.

Punishingly Intricate

I just made gougeres for the first time.

YES!! hmm I have a clothing swap to go to on Saturday maybe I'll make some gougeres for snacking.

sarameg, I'm loving the food reports! Man, I want to go to Spain someday. This year, though, we will be going to England to be able to visit our friends who are doing a semester in London (and staying in an awesome place with plenty of room for visitors).

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I had that problem as well.

I am sad that HKF is no longer into HK!

Sophia - she's doesn't dislike HK. She just needed brain space for all of Hogwarts.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Dinner tonight (and last night) - slow cooked black beans, kidney beans, pinto beans, chicken breast, corn meal, okra, sweet peppers, onions, tomatoes, mild chili peppers (Anaheim) garlic, salt, pepper, parsley, lime juice, wine, a tiny bit of safflower oil. Not quite enough left over for dinner tomorrow by itself, so will serve over tortilla, and top with grated cheese to get one more meal out of it.

Incidentally I'll bet what Burrel does is exactly how chilaquiles came into existence in the first place. leftover tortillas, so fry them crisp and then top with what you have.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Allyson, the author's name sounded familiar, and I figured out it's because I read an investigation of his career as a fraud [link]
