When we landed here you said you needed a few days to get space worthy again and is there somethin' wrong with your bunk?

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Sure they are not doing nothing. But it does seem like some of this becoming national and international cops is poor prioritization. Wasting resources they could use to do their own jobs to do someone elses's, and do someone else's badly. it is a critique of the institution - not of every single cop. But it really is terrible that burglary is such a non-priority they are not even interested when given the address of stolen property. And if it were because resources were tight that would be one thing. But at the same time nothing will be done about burglaries they have an office in Israel. The fact that they have not gone out of business and still do crime fighting does make this something not worth criticizing.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

We are babysitting the dojo kids for the first time in a long while. The baby boy I used to watch is now 4 and in pre-K. His baby sister will be 2 in January. They are so big. Kids grow up WAY too fast.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm still trying to imagine what one might describe as "figuratively fried octopus".

An octopus who's just too tired to care?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

They fry a squid that's missing two tentacles.

Oh, I've been meaning to ask:

Hivemind on cookware? My frying/saucepans are all shot to hell, and I desperately need new ones. I was thinking I might just buy a whole set of things, so they all match pretty, but that's just a thought. What should I be looking for? I remember hearing vague things about nonstick being evil chemicals that will wear off and rot my brain. True? What other options are there besides like, cast iron? If I don't get nonstick, won't my pans be hella hard to clean? What are the secret codewords I should be looking for?

Oh, yeah, like it's finals week and he hasn't been sleeping much and he just can't get that damn pickle jar to open! That would really fry his tentacles.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
