Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We had spaghetti arrabiatta with a random sampling of cakes for dessert.

I have severely underplanned this morning. I mean we all know breakfast will be served at 8:30, but what time do we roll out of bed with the shirts? I should atty least shower and get that out of the way.

She agreed to watch Community before dinner, and was pretty appreciative (she worked out I'd watched AD for her birthday) of the 2.5 eps we saw, and even busted out an on topic Abed line " Can you guys hear me? Am I deaf? Can you hear me talking right now?" when she caught us mouthing secrets behind her back. Couldn't ask for more.

apricot hefeweizen ice cream

Whoa.

Bacon Maple Donut beer

Double whoa! Is that just the brewery name, or does it actually taste anything like bacon, maple, or donuts?

David, thanks for the radish recipe! Although actually I just meant, if people have unexpected radishes they can always send them to me. Mmmmm, radishes.

Taking M to the airport in an hour and a half. Man, I so don't want him to go, not least because we've got an awful lot of house stuff still to deal with before we move in, which is theoretically happening in less than a week.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Kate- it's a Rogue beer called Voodoo Donut. It had a little more of a smoke taste than I like (just a touch) which I'm assuming was due to the bacon. But it had a nice maple/donut dough aftertaste.

That sounds pretty amazing, Lilty!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Last night's dinner was take-out Chinese. I was still kind of full from lunch, so I didn't eat as much as usual.

Currently I am being tenderized by a cat.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Last night at dinner I was next to a bunch of Obama-haters who were talking about the ambassador being dragged through the streets while still alive.

I swear, Wisconsin didn't used to be so angry and partisan.

OK, Sonic may make great hot dogs and grilled cheese sandwiches, but their breakfast burritos are crappy.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We had spaghetti arrabiatta with a random sampling of cakes for dessert.

How very Izzard of you! Was death also on the menu? Did Darth Vader hector you about the arrabiatta?

T-shirt unveiling went perfectly. Not synchronised. I was staring out the window, back to her, and she was commenting on the third ep of Community and she was wondering why I wasn't talking about my show. I turned around slowly, and she laughed so hard she fell over. Everyone else trickled in, and it took her three to realise it was a joint effort. There will be pictures later.

We tried it and were not impressed. It's not a maple porter, which I am always looking for and the smell is bacony but the taste certainly isn't.

It was surprisingly expensive for not a great beer. But it does have a cool bottle.
