I'm tired of eating carrots, dammit.
I'm going to make a grilled ham and cheese sandwich for lunch.
I think I might want a counter top panini press.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Looong work day. But instead of crashing though we both wanted to, me and my other fellow no-more-work-socializing (honestly, by the end of today, what with almost all day yesterday being around each other, it was getting a little too much circular energy) ended up walking around town, desultorily shopping, grabbing a drink in a patio cafe, then ambling and talking about NONwork stuff. Stopped at a place and got a bunch of tapas/small plates: canutillos puerros (think tempura-but crisper strips of leek and possible a cheese with a blueberry sauce) raviolis wrapped in zucchini and jamon and fish croquets (for her,) toasta pork solomillo with tomato and brie and grilled asparagus wrapped in jamon iberico. Just right.
And now I'm chilling. One more day, then I'm pure solo. Rooms are booked.

Hope this football game ends soon. It's noisy with door to the balcony open.
She switched fandoms, didn't she?
yup. Does anyone need a Hello! Kitty toaster? (the working one)
Obviously, she needs crossover fic.
oh, my brain. No way I can re-watch Professor McGonagall's transformation without laughing now...
Dang sara, that's full on food porn right there.
I am crassshhhhinng. combo of 24 allergy wearing off, plus no caffeine, plus eating a cupcake an hour ago....hkliHKLLGhn kh
What's jamon, sara?
Ham, Amy. But really good Spanish ham. Jamon Iberico is the really high-end stuff that you can't even get in the US, I think.
jamon = ham
NOT THAT I AM IN SPAIN TO VERIFY THIS KNOWLEDGE. hrrrrmph.
I am seriously going to try grilling/saute-ing leeks and fresh blueberries and dumping them over salad greens. Never a combo I would have put together, but it so works.
Swear to god, pretty much all of the budget is food and I'm really not a foodie, nor am I going extravagant. It's just that my spanish food spanish (as opposed to mexican) is so random, I just take suggestions or randomly pick based on "not fish?" and one ingredient I like. Worked so far.
ham is my first response.
my second response: what Michael Jackson shouted in "Bad."
