Yeah, this is my plan. Also, trying to find a few people to come hang out with me over the weekend.
My sister is helping, and we are getting some financial and emotional support from the others. I'm the one managing the personal care, though, with the agency.
I'm glad they're helping, though it still sounds like you're carrying a disproportionate amount of the burden. Anyway, I hope you all can work together to find a good placement for your parents.

Definitely have a friend over, Kate. amych did me a total solid once and came over for dinner with me and the kids (aged 8 months and 3) while mr. flea was out of town once, and it was soooo helpful. Dillo needed me to go to sleep, and Casper was NOT interested in being left out by herself, but with amych to watch Iron Giant with her it worked, and made all the difference. (Especially since I had nearly left her at the nearest police station earlier that afternoon for really egregious behavior.)

Friends to keep you and Rose company would be awesome. I know I leaned on my friends when Jake was little, a LOT. (He was the first baby for all of us, so he was this adorable novelty, and I took shameless advantage of it.)
