Kate, that's great -- smooth transaction and fixing ~ma to you.
Cash, that sounds like a cool job, congrats!
msbelle, pulling for you; I hope they are reasonable and that your anxiety is gone about that, well, all ready, but if not, soon.
javachick - yikes. That's a lot of car time.
I'm stil waiting to hear whether I have a new grand-nephew yet! But the mom-to-be did post that they'd arrived at the hospital. I guess she was in labor at home for a long while last night.
ETA: Congrats, flea!!
So, my sister, who is in law school, just passed some test that is called the MPRE.
It is taking all the strength I have not to make an MPREG joke on her Facebook page.
Keeneland sales streaming live: lots of elegant and expensive horsies.
Twitter says that Sean Connery is at the US Open.
flea, excellent news on the house front! Also, I salute your restraint vis-a-vis the MPREG joke. (Is this the sister we know?)
Rats, I failed the eye test during my attempt to renew my driver's license today. I'm hoping that it was just an otherwise unnoticed effect on my vision from this morning's migraine, and not an indication I need glasses. Oh well, will be making an appointment to find out either way.
I don't really think there's a bad time for an MPREG joke, especially with family.
That pixie picture you linked to is interesting, tommy. I went to his blog, and it's so fucking multiethnic I could cry tears of joy. And he has a delightful Delirium. Imma tumblr the shit out of it.
No, I have a half-sister who is 25 and in law school in Seattle. (This is an occasional confusion to many. The Sister You Know is living happily in her new(ish) condo in Boston and working for The Man, which is to say Harvard. I will eat my hat if she goes to law school.) And she's not very fannish, so no MPREG.
