Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Amex makes "like cash" gift cards too, if that's an option

Since the friend is in Switzerland and my sister is in Jamaica, something mailable is the last possible resort, because of lack of trust in the Jamaican post office system, and the more "like cash" stuff is, the more likely it is to disappear.

It costs me $16 to receive a wire from a foreign country. I am very curious to know where the $16 (relatively speaking) worth of effort goes).

Good lord, I think 4 loads of laundry should hold me over for a little bit. And I'll pretend I've just lost the zulilly link...

I showed my sister the picture of my current dress, and her comment was "You went dark last time"

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

listing stuff on ebay, yay yay yay. Man I wan to get stuff out of my house like woah, but none of this is sizable, still it adds up to boxes and bags sitting around.

Anyone have a boy in size 10 stuff?

oh, I also just listed a box full of Bakugan stuff if anyone's kids is into that.

I should have started doing this earlier in the weekend. I really am hitting a stride, now that I have an hour before bed.

Oh, damn. LAistas, was there a quake last night? I need to go look that up. Because I swear the hospital shook for one reason or another.

I decided to get this last night, and my sister is disappointed because it's dark, like I was last wedding. I think a) dark is perfectly fine twice in a row and b) well, I don't actually need a b). Just--a).

I would love to wear them with the Aerosoles I couldn't find in my size and fishnets, but that's still not remotely colourful.

Liese, iKobo looks interesting. I will pass that on to her. The bit where they have an expired security certificate isn't confidence-inspiring, though, I have no idea why they're related,

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I saw several tweets about a quake.

ita, there was one in Beverly Hills at around 3:00. I was fast asleep.

Hey, is the nurse you like at the ER Helen? There was a nice blonde one (Shannon or something) who was sort of helpful.

Here it is: [link]

First time navigating the new interface. It's prettier than before, but the info's also further away.

There are a bunch by now, but neither of those names ring a bell. I don't have a Helen or a Shannon down in my notes, but I've been very bad at keeping them well recently,

Lots of the nurses we worked with were kind. Many were sort of non-present, which is okay too. Outside of IV stuff and blood draws, we do all of the nursing type care ourselves. Whenever Grace's IV pump alarmed though, on the last night, I would crawl out of bed, hit the call button and bark, "Her infusion is alarming." Pet Peeve of mine. (I think we lost the first IV site in the ER in part because the infusion stopped and it alarmed for an HOUR before anyone came in to either flush it or restart the maintenance fluids).

I did almost flip out on a nurse who suggested we should put a PICC line in Grace to make blood draws easier. WHAT? She has been admitted to the hospital ONCE in 3+ almost 4 years for non-preplanned surgery reasons. This is an amazing record for a kid with a trache who attends public school and has for years. For a little sicky, Grace is amazingly resilient and hardy. But she wanted to put a PICC line? Ridiculous.

Also, I use this [link] to the list of LA quakes directly. Sometimes the new interface confuses me.
