Theo, while I hadn't spoken to my mother for years before she died, it was world-wobbling to realize I was a person without parents. Like being on the front-line of life without someone to potentially hide behind.

(Is this why people cringe when I mention that my uncle-in-law loves me best and bought me a creme brûlée torch? I am very safe with it.)
Pete is still appalled that my parents gave me a crime brûlée torch for Christmas. He feels they, of all people, should have known better.
I'm hungry. I also have zero food in the house. Yes, these things may be related. I really need to suck it up and go to the grocery store.
If I lived where you do, I would totally use that as an excuse for chicken and waffles.
I bought CJ a creme brûlée torch and I still shake my head at myself. But it means if I buy the ingredients, he will make creme brûlée.
I don't have a creme brulee torch. But I also don't make creme brulee. Not sure which direction is the causal relatioship, though.
What kind of mint is in mojitos? I mean, if I were to grow it myself? It's after Labor Day, almost, so there's a mojito set at the thrift store, and I have spearmint from the farmer's market.
What is a mojito set?

They don't need to be related. I use my torch to sear chicken skin, for instance.
I would think whatever mint you have is the right mint for a mojito.
Mmm, creme brûlée. Might have to make one of those tonight.
I think the most commonly sold mint would be spearmint, which is what I would use for a mojito. I heard some people prefer peppermint. Chocolate mint might be interesting.
Why didn't anyone tell me there was a mild gay pic scandal related to Teen Wolf?
Apparently Colton Hayne's lawyer has been going around telling sites to take down his personal pictures, but the pics they're talking about are from a photoshoot printed in XY Magazine. That is the sort of thing I need to be kept informed about. It's, like, in the rules.
Sorry ita, I somehow assumed you'd already have known about that. There's debate whether it's an overzealous lawyer/manager hoping people won't realize that he doesn't actually have authority to make those demands, or if it's MTV's doing like trying to bury the fact that one of its Real World participants spent a couple of years working for a porn webcam site.
Colton himself apparently has no trouble being filmed with male cast members macking on him, and has spoken supportively about his brother's same-sex marriage in interviews, so I doubt the uptightness is originating with him.
