You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ita the graham crackers are delish

Crack! I grab them by the fistload, and take some home with me.

Why are they insisting on transferring her? Is it a bed space issue?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yes. But at 4am they still hadn't assigned a bed in Santa Monica. So then we' may as well wait here since a transfer would leave my car trapped, parking in SM sucks, and it is even further from home. Transfer us to Huntington which is at least close to home even if not in ucla's system.

I wish I had a toothbrush, clothes for grace and a sweater for me.

garden variety pneumonia

Kat, it just kills me that you can even say "garden variety pneumonia" about Grace without asscaps and exclamation points. I hope she can get the care she needs, pronto.

Because books.

How is Grace, Kat? Does she feel any better?

Well I mean it more as can be treated on a non ICU bed by pediatric people and not pulmonary people.

Our wings are not tired.

especially since her pulmonologist probably won't see her since it is garden variety pneumonia

Poor Grace and all her family! I hope they get her moved where she can be cared for properly and most conveniently.

She feels better thanks to antibios. she HATES the IV and they put it in her good arm which means she is upset at having to use her leftie. So she is a little pissy any time someone approaches her. I feel stupid because we brought her here since this where her specialists are but we would be better off at huntington.
