Our wings are not tired.

Also, this last month in NY has been great for avoiding bad political ads. When I get back to FL next week I will have to go back to never watching live television. One bad ad after another. Apparently they aren't wasting their money here. I see a few, but nothing like the poor swing states.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

“This is the last time that any party will try to win an election with just the white vote.”

Yeah, I was thinking about that after I made my last post.

Sullivan says that the Republicans just need to be out of power long enough and they'll be forced to be sane in order to win elections again. Hopefully that will happen.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

They are convinced the Mitt/Paul team have blown Florida and won't get the senior vote.

From their lips to voters' ears!

I had a horrible thought last night that Mittens could swing Massachusetts and Michigan (both kind of home states), and Chris Christie could bring in NJ for him. I have no idea how likely any of that is, but thinking geographically about the campaign, I find I'm more worried than I was a month or so ago.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I was told if I took her AMA, insurance would not cover the visit. True or bullying?

It's not true. Or at least extremely unlikely.

Because books.

Kat, I hope you can go soon one way or another. Poor Grace.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh Kat, what a day! I hope Grace gets settled soon. We are heading out of town today, but let me know if I can drop something by for you. We're close after all.

Politics scare me, particularly the seeming disconnect from reality and the blatant lies and distortions. I'll be honest, I fear bloodshed and civil unrest, but my husband discounts it.

According to Five Thirty Eight, Romney has a 1% chance of winning Massachusetts, a 5% chance of winning New Jersey, and a 9% chance of winning Michigan.

See, reality-based facts can cheer me up.
