It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

High stuffiness. No tights if that's your concen. But, 40% every Wednesday? What's this now?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Zombies! Hyena people! Jan Brewer!

Ha, just had to repeat this.

Our monsoon has been a bit better than usual so far, but our reservoirs are still super low from the previous years' depletion. They haven't been good since we built the house, basically, and it flooded in February. Of what, now, 2008?

It's raining right now, though. We had to close the windows because it was blowing everything all around.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No tights if that's your concen

No, pretty much always tights. The office isn't warm enough for bare legs. I'd rather be warm than not stuffy.

But, 40% every Wednesday? What's this now?

I don't know if it's because I have a BR credit card? (That's how you can tell a store has stolen my soul) But when I bought a couple shirts last week, they gave me a strip of coupons for the 29th, 5th, 12th, and 19th that are 40% off 1 full priced item for the first three Wednesdays, and 30% off a sale item for the last. This is the second strip I've gotten, but I usually don't use my card, so I don't know if I missed opportunities or they're linked or what. There are exceptions, but the store I was at said they'd honour the discount on anything in the store anyway.

If there was any way for me to shop on the 12th before I went home for my sister's birthday, I'd totes be burning these puppies up. Stuff! Need stuff! (I've been so good recently...)

Our wings are not tired.

Dana, I punched a guy on a weather blog this morning and now I feel better about it. He was bitching about the uneven distribution of FEMA funds among states. I would have thought I had no words, but then I did!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's raining right now, though. We had to close the windows because it was blowing everything all around.

I think if it weren't so hot, I wouldn't mind the flash flooding. Well at least since the storm drain in front of me was finally finished. The first week and a half of sudden rain was a little fraught.

It's just so hot. I want to be able to open the windows. Or breathe.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Now I want to go look at Banana Republic. /shallow

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

David, WTF? Linky?

Here's one of many.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

A dramatic interpretation of "Baby Got Back" as if it were performed by actor Sir Ian McKellen.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

How about Sir Ian jamming with the Fleshtones (playing in the style of the Velvet Underground) doing Shakespeare's slashiest sonnet XX on Andy Warhol's MTV show for the Valentine's Day special?
