Ha! The earliest I found ANYTHING open near where I stayed in Barcelona was 9, and it was pretty dead until 10 or even later. I covet the Spanish time schedule. I so love that country. So happy for you, sarameg.

OK, first thing in the morning, even my meager spanish comprehension is shot. And the guy at the one open cafe talked really fast. What's amusing is that my english is suffering too. I keep throwing in random foreign words, sometimes spanish, sometimes not. And I keep saying Dobry den (czech) instead of Buenos dias. I don't even.
Meet up is at 8. Gotta get my work brain one.
Wearing my one pair of heels and the funny thing is they feel more comfortable than the other 3 pairs I've been wearing the past 2 days. Shoe fatigue.

I went to the outlet mall in the Valley and also bought nothing. There was one pair of cargo pants I liked and would have bought if they were black, but they were green. It was a huge outlet mall, too, but lots of empty storefronts. Wonder if the economy is taking a disproportionate hit on outlets because they lower prices at the retails instead?
I miss ita !. I hope her Sunday treatment goes/went well. I know it's important for her to be aable to take time for herself, but I do miss her here.
It's snowing. Last week, it was 86 degrees.
