Happy birthday, meara!
I can't believe I asked a project manager to add "Gwen Cooper" to the list of people who can book time against his project.
Yeah, we have a Gwen. Her surname is not Cooper. Didn't realise I'd done that wrong until just now.
And, if you'd asked me what the character's surname was, I'd have told you I didn't remember.
Birthday Happies, meara!!
ita !, can I have Gwen Cooper's number?
Many happy returns, meara!
Happy Birthday meara!
I am glad out New Orleanians are safe!
I do not feel well.
Does anyone have a catchier name for 'Online Course Development Group'? It is a group of people (like a writer's group) who will be meeting semimonthly to critique and work on their online course.
Man that was great. (Pierce)
factcheck is also pretty great today [link]
Man, it would be cool if this civil union gets to remain in effect.
I have managed to get the subject matter expert consultants and my manager to agree that the plan is too risky--I need to see if the developer agrees too, and then that will make just 1 person who supports the project. The scope scares me right now, and makes me scared for my Christmas vacation and travel to Megna's wedding.
Internet down. Still have power. Shouldn't complain, but I still want to.
Benen's good. If you really want to know why Mitt's a bad choice, read Matt Taibbi.
I don't really watch either convention...they're infomercials, even if you're a politics geek. Just doing like Ari Gold...cursing and reading coverage.

Yeah, the Democratic convention is going to have as much puffery, though less upsetting puffery for liberals.
we usually have better speakers, but if somebody says something heart-rendingly awesome, the internet will tell me.
Don't get me wrong, if I could really be there, I'd probably be psyched by the spectacle, but otherwise?
I don't like hype.
