no paste buffer today - but then I only really got on the computer now.
we spent all out Christmas gift cards and our REI dividend We bought a new table for the patio, a faucet for the bathroom, grout, a new fleece for me ( it is 80 = degrees out), a and a new water bottle for matt. we did have to spend a little of our own cash, but not much. and now we have a bathroom faucet that doesn't drip and is not ugly old 'gold'.
we are also attempting to pretend that there is no promiscuous plant sex going on

Paste buffer:
[student name], reading the whole of your Bluest Eye essay, I can see the gist of your argument--that the racial aspect of beauty standards in Pecola's community are impossible for her to attain--but you haven't yet given me the "so what" in your thesis. Remember the prompt, which asks you to articulate how these standards deform personal identity, as you revisit your thesis and body paragraphs. Your syntax and diction made it difficult for me to follow your reasoning; if you choose to revise, eliminate passive voice and wordiness. This draft has potential--it just needs to be clarified. Revision is optional; all revisions are due by Monday, 4/30. Points Earned: 40/50
Yep, I’ve been grading papers today.

Aw, thanks for saying, Hec. I appreciate it.

Pix, did you get my text earlier?
Paste: Rowling's reasoning for joining the British Society of Weights and Measures.
I made up for not spending hardly anything at the outlets yesterday by spending a ton of money at Target.
Then I went to the grocery store...and then I rented "Tomorrow When the War Began" from RedBox. Except I realized I have lots of TV to watch tonight (Amazing Race, Good Wife), and tomorrow I have a class in the evening. Hmm.

No paste buffer here. In marked contrast to yesterday, I have gotten nothing done except reading part of a library book and taking an afternoon nap.
